Diriyah Gate

Located in the heart of the capital, the historic city of Diriyah will reveal 300 years of culture and history through heritage and educational experiences, plus shopping, entertainment, and dining venues.

It is home to Unesco sites including At-Turaif, a World Heritage Site, and an open-air museum of Saudi Arabia’s history.

Diriyah was an ancient trade and pilgrimage route and a meeting point for those traveling between Asia, Africa, and Europe.

Qiddiya

Qiddiya, a Public Investment Fund project, will be the capital of entertainment, sports and arts.

The project's portfolio consists of parks and attractions; sports and wellness; motion and mobility; arts and culture; and nature and environment. The project will include will host a Six Flags theme park, a water park, a Formula One racing track and sports stadiums including venues for young Saudi athletes, and other cultural activities spread across 366 square kilometres.

Amaala

Amaala is a year-round ultra-luxury coastal destination planned for the north-western Tabuk province.

It will have its own airport and target luxury travellers seeking “transformative personal journeys” inspired by wellness, arts, culture and the “purity of the Red Sea”. It borders the city of Neom and the Red Sea Project within the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Natural Reserve.

Asir

Down in the country’s southwest, the Kingdom’s highest mountain peaks are also getting a revamp. Last September, the crown prince announced a tourism strategy to develop Asir with an investment of $13 Billion, to attract more than 10 million visitors by 2030.

The region’s picturesque green mountains, its fair weather, archeological sites, and dense forests that cannot be found anywhere else in the Kingdom, combined with its renowned hospitality, have attracted thousands of tourists in recent years.

New attractions on Asir’s mountain peaks will turn the province into a year-round destination, exploiting the tourism potential of its geographic and natural diversity, culture, and heritage.

In addition, it will provide new jobs, boost the quality of life, and upgrade essential services and infrastructure in the region. The PIF plans to set aside $3 Billion to build 2,700 hotel rooms, 1,300 residential units, and 30 commercial and entertainment attractions in Asir by 2030.

The Line (Neom)

Saudi Arabia's Neom, the kingdom's $500 Billion city of the future, will be powered entirely by clean energy, a major step in Saudi Arabia's shift away from an oil-based economy.

The Line is to be built in Neom and will be home to nine million people, who will live in interconnected societies run by artificial intelligence designed to co-exist with nature. The Line will be 170km long and up to 500 meters tall, with a mirror facade that will allow its footprint to “blend with nature”.

Trojena (Neom)

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman this year announced plans for Trojena, a global destination for mountain tourism, that will be located in the $500 billion high-tech city Neom.

The mountain tourism destination will be the first major outdoor skiing site in the GCC.

Trojena will support Neom's aim of supporting and developing tourism in the region.

The Line (Neom)

King Salman Park is one of Riyadh’s Four Megaprojects launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, on 19 March 2019. The Park aims at providing a variety of sports, cultural, artistic, and recreational options to the residents and visitors of Riyadh, therefore, improving the quality of life in the city in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals of a vibrant and healthy society, and raising Riyadh’s global ranking.

Shams Ar Riyadh Project

Shams Ar Riyadh spanning 5,059,000 sq.m, is the first of its kind
in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project comprises both
commercial and residential spaces incorporated with the finest
facilities for an exclusive lifestyle.

The Avenues Riyadh

The project will have a land area of 390,000 square meters, a rental area of 400,000 square meters, and a total building area of 1.8 million square meters, Saudi Press Agency reported, citing Shomoul Chairman, Mohammed Al-Shaya.

The project will include international hotels, residential apartments, medical clinics, offices, and parking spaces for about 15,000 vehicles, Al-Shaya said.

He pointed out using sustainable elements and the project's design obtaining the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification by the American Green Building Council.

The Crown Prince envisioned establishing the first nonprofit city of its kind in the world, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City, which will contribute to achieving the goals of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk” in supporting Saudi youth in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship while nurturing future leaders.
